Rock-Jam Music Schools provide a unique learning experience, offering tuition for electric guitar, drums, bass and keyboards from the age of 7 upwards.
We are unique
No other school provides your child with this exciting, interactive, and fun way of learning an instrument. Not only do our students get high quality tuition from young and enthusiastic tutors, they get to practice their new found skills immediately in a live band situation. Instant results!!
How often do children say they want to learn an instrument, then a few weeks later, when mum and dad have just spent lots of money on a shiny new guitar/trumpet/violin, they say they are fed up with lessons and the instrument gets consigned to the loft or Ebay? We want to ensure that all our students stick with their guitar, bass, drum-kit or keyboard by making their learning experience as fun and interesting as possible. That's why we teach them the basics very quickly so that they can jam along and see quick results. We also hope that this encourages them to practice in between lessons - after all there is no getting away from the fact that to be a good player there is no substitute for practice!!
Here at Rock-Jam Music schools we offer free short-term hire of guitars so that parents can be sure that for their child guitar lessons are not just a 'passing fad' before investing in an instrument.

Instruments Taught
We teach electric guitar, drums, bass and keyboards in a band-based environment.
All lessons are on a maximum 3:1 basis with a young CRB checked tutor.
Live Concerts
Every few months we organise a live, charity rock concert in a local venue where every student within our schools gets the opportunity to perform in front of a live, and very enthusiastic audience
School Visits
Rock-Jam Music Schools often visit primary schools to run roadshows/workshops. This gives us the opportunity to show children what we do and give them the chance to have a go on our instruments. This is great fun for children and teachers alike - we have had more than one teacher have a go on the drums, we can tell you!

Outdoor performances
At various times during the year we take Rock-Jam Music schools on the road to events such as Schools Fairs, Galas, Fun-days etc.
We like to get out and about, especially during the summer and we welcome any chance to show what we do. If you would like an unusual attraction for your upcoming event please contact us.
